The goal with “A Long Way From Home” was to create a record that feels like you’re listening on your back porch on a hot summer night with fireflies climbing up your favorite trees in the yard.

Aiming to capture a natural representation of the music rather than over-thinking the production, the record was recorded by Tom Relling in San Francisco in his home studio with the help of a ¼” tape machine.

These are songs of real people. These are songs of home and songs of loneliness. Songs of memory, songs of foolishness, and songs of love.
